Hey guys, I picked up a nice Savage 110 in .243 with a flatback receiver. (I think maybe a 2000 year model or there about). My crony buddy's are telling me that the flatback receivers are very popular among builders. Can anyone tell me if there's any truth to that and why they would be favored over a round receiver?
