25 WSM (NOT WSSM)
Bought the barrel and put the rest together and now my interests have changed,
Savage LA small shank action
24" barrel (forgot maker) blued, sporter profile
10 twist
0.25" PTG recoil lug
Red/Grey Revolution Thumbhole Stock (was new when I bought it but it rubbed on my rest last time I shot and dinged up the bottom of the grip cap)
non-accutrigger (takes some tuning to get it set, if I kept it, I'd swap it out with a Basix)
internal magazine
Has 20 rounds on it. Sighted it in, let it cool completely and the next 2 were as seen in the picture. After that the barrel was getting hot as expected with a sporter profile and groups opened up a bit. It's a hunting rifle, definitely not a bench shooter for long strings.
Also have Redding dies and some once fired brass and new 270wsm brass (Winchester I believe).
I'll leave the 30mm tallys on it. The scope is a Vortex PST 2 3-15x44 SFP EBR-4 and it can be added for additional money.
