Savage 116 stock

I just picked up a savage model 116 stainless fluted 6.5x284 long range hunter and I'm wanting to upgrade the stock anyone know what my options are for this for a drop in

Wooz, Boyd's on the low end about $117-$140 laminated wood, very strong. Bell&Carlson Medalist medium range about $289 and McMillan and Manners on the high end. 1-8 weeks wait low and medium priced depending on color. Who knows $$$ on the high end stocks. All prices TYD. IMO all should be bedded for maximum accuracy. Just bedded a Boyd's Tacticool stock for a friend's Savage 110 in .308 Win., really helped the groups. Good luck

Just got one for the 116 in the same caliber but I have to clear for the barrel a little
