I appreciate your honest opinion. I agree; the recent ruling sucks. With some of the rulings coming out about arm braces, I wonder how that will affect this pistol.
10" barrels are not my choice. A 14-15 inch barrel would have been much more useful for the specialty world.
The pic rail on the tang leads me to assume that marketing target for this, is not handgun hunters, but rather it is more of a walk around the SBR.
I like the price.
Not a fan of a 0 slope pic rail, but I also understand it was not designed for distance. Plus, with some Burris rings, you can easily add MOA to the platform.
Am I opposed to it? No
Would I be interested in one with the current political climate? No
Am I glad there is another specialty pistol out there? Yes!
There is one on GBI agree. Tough time to release this to the market with all the unknowns. Especially if you wanna put a brace on it.will probably need an NFA license for that…
I've had a few of the older Savage Striker pistols and customized them with rear grip stocks and many many barrel swaps… A lot of fun and different than the norm!
I like this new one but wish it started out with a 15" barrel. Flames out the end of the 10" barrel will look cool and all, but I'd rather have more velocity with a little longer barrel.
Are these even available yet? I haven't been able to find any for sale anywhere.. I did finally get to handle one last week though at the Pa Outdoor show in Harrisburg. Guess I shoulda asked the rep…Anyone seen them for sale?
