rum to wsm barrel swap?

does anybody know if it works well to switch a wsm barrel onto a factory 7 rum bdl setup? would feeding be acceptable just a barrel change by a gunsmith and no other modifications? thanks

You will probably need a center feed magazine because you are putting a short cartridge in a long action and the feed rails and follower are for a longer case. The case will pop out before it is far enough in to the barrel.

thanks for the reply lhouston78 that is the type of worries I have really only wanted to do this if it was pretty inexpensive since gun shoots good as is
