My little sister has decided to hunt this year,so we picked her up a new ruger 308 and I am trying to find a composite youth model stock.

We dont really want to cut the wood one up in case she wants to re-sell it in the future. Anyone know who might make a youth model for the Ruger?? Thanks for the help!

Small trick to make the stock cutting a minor issue.

Take off the recoil pad and drill two 1/4 holes about 1.5-2 inches deep in bottom of the stock. Then masking tape the stock and cut off how much you need.

When you want to sell or she grows into it. Put 1/4 glued dowels in the holes and the two pieces of stock will match up perfectly again. Minor sanding and stain and will be only slightly noticable.

Second used ruger stocks should not be that hard to find or to replace.
