Ruger M77 Extended Mag Box

Hello,
Couldn't find anything in the search for this.

I have a 264 Win Mag and would like to seat the 140 VLD's out farther but am limited by the box. Wondering if I should sell the rifle and build one on a XL action or try and track down a bigger box, which would be the cheaper option.

I checked Wyatt's website and they don't have any info on the 4" mag box for the M77, unless the 700 box would fit in a ruger by any stroke of luck.

I had the same problem in my m77 so used a dremel and took out some of the bullet ramp and cut out the front part of magazine liner,gained 25 thousands at least.

Did you run into any feeding problems after you did that?

If anyone else has any other idea's that would be great. I might just have to try the old dremel tool trick

took a bit of time but it feeds fine now,didnt know what else to do and on another site they were talking about doing it,glad I did
