Well, he is in the "business" to make money. Sometimes we forget it's a livelihood to some people. The level of being an "influencer" versus being an old school outdoor "writer" is getting blurred IMO. I think Ron stays more on the outdoor writer side of equation to the greatest extent. It's a tough business to be in especially being older generation trying to play in all the media avenues they must participate in every second of their existence.
Can you imagine having to post and check your:
Email - how many?
Texts - how many phones?

Prob missed a few but seriously, why on earth would anyone want to do this? Ever watch a hunting show? The hunter is not enjoying the hunt at all. On phone constantly. The joy of being out in God's creation is completely lost upon a lot of them. Do they even hear a twig snap out of sight? Chickadee? Squirrel the size of Sasquatch raising your BP 50pts? I just cannot even fathom not being totally immersed in my hunt to enjoy every potential sensory input of being out there. I kinda feel sorry for some of these so called "influencers".
