Ron Spomer and his team took 3 Hammer Bullets to Mozambique and gave them an ultimate test. They hunted multiple Bushbuck, Cape Buffalo, Hartebeest, Nyala, Reedbuck, Waterbuck, and Warthogs.

Back in the days when I wrote for VARMINT HUNTER and a few other mags I went on a few varmint hunts with Ron. After the day was done, most writers would kick back and drink beer but more often than not, Ron was bench testing the rifles and loads we were supposed to evaluate. Like all writers, he won't write about something that doesn't work, but unlike many, he really wrings things out. I suspect he shot a ton of Hammers at the range as well.
