Does anyone have a handle on long range shooting with 22, 22mag or 17hmr. Shoot a lot and just started hearing about this. I shoot 6 creedmoor for long range and thought rimfire would be fun and a heck of a lot cheaper?

It's a blast. Set up one similar to your LR rifle.....

I have had a lot of fun with shooting a 22. Used to run NRL22 matches with a handful of side stages, but access to a range that supports the event was a challenge.

Huge opportunity to bring in new shooters. For families to shoot. Being able to have a squad of new shooters with one or two seasoned folks works great because everyone could run the same gun. Would have new folks just supply XYZ ammo and you are off and running.

200, 300, 400 yards can be a blast. Add a suppressor and it is even more fun. Was even able to get my 16 year old daughter and her friend (never shot a firearm) to join in.

Even finding the ammo your gun likes is a good time. As with anything you can go over the deep end. Many have a setup mirroring their centerfire long range rifles, some just have a 10/22 with rail/scope able for all the travel needed beyond 150 yards. Smiles everywhere regardless of the setup.

Fun times all around, highly recommend it!

Nice looking guns, you have them made like I did my 204 or are they a factory rifle?
Thank you.

The first one is an ultimatum deuce, with a 22" 1.063" straight 1:12 twist ibi barrel sitting in a JAE.

Second one is a zermatt rimx, sporting a lothar 1:16 twist steel, manners leg

Third is a zermatt rimx, sporting a 1:16 twist 20" ibi carbon in a mdt hnt26

fourth is a vudoo 360 wearing a 1:14 twist 26" ks arms 1.250 straight, mdt acc,

Thoroughly enjoying my Savage 93R17 ( 17HMR ) shooting at 4" and 2" targets at 200 yards. It`s a challenge, miss some, but doable. Newest challenge will be shooting 300 yards at a 6" painted orange target dot on steel.
Personally would not shoot at anything alive at 200 and 300 yards, though I know some do. That little round starts running out of energy pretty fast past about 125 yards or so.
