Removing residue from factory decals???

Not sure where to put this but i got a weatherby vanguard 2 and it had decals on barrel from factory they left a huge amount of residue on barrel. How do i get this off without messing up finish

4, try WD-40 it should remove the decal goo and not hurt blued or stainless barrel.
