I just picked up a nice Remington 700 SS 300 RUM....
I believe it is an SPS due to the stock but their is no model number or model identification on the rifle anywhere other than model 700 and it has really cheap looking black plastic stock. The ss finish is a blasted one but it seems shinier than I would have thought. Actually very nice looking metal.
Is there a way to determine version by serial number?
