24", less than 100 since it's been around. I'm posting it for my best friend. Overall, I don't know the round count from new, but I know it shoots good and the bore is in excellent condition.

The 788 is/was a great shooter... a bit ugly, but performance was super! It is the best "economy" bolt action ever produced in my opinion. Glad it found a home! DD62

My buddies have one in a 243 and a 6mm and we jokingly call them the ugly murderers. They both shoot lights out and have killed about everything you can with them. It's not the looks that kill. LOL

That's correct... I have bought 2 right handed in 243 Win. and 2 Left handed in 6mm Rem. All 4 were good shooters and helped youngsters take thier first deer. They are a great "youth" rifle. DD62
