Remington 700 SPS

Hey, I havnt heard much about hte remington 700 SPS but I was wondering if anyone knew much about it. All i know is its cheaper than other 700's and other than the synthetic stock i dont really know why. So any enlightenment on the situations would be nice, especially considering I may pick one up within the next few days.

A friend of mine has one, and he really likes it. It is the stainless in 30-06. It will usually (3 shot group)put the first 2 shots touching and the 3 just a little out of the group. Still under 1 moa though. This is w/ factory loads. I would say go ahead and get it.
