I initially bought a Ruger American Ranch in 7.62x39 as a cheap plinking rifle for my son ($180/1000 for steel cased ammo). As with anything else I cannot leave things alone and feel the need to load some "accurate" hunting ammo. Has anyone reloaded for this rifle? If so what type of dies, brass, bullets, powder, primers, etc are you using? What kind of velocity and accuracy are you seeing? This may be a boneheaded waste of money, guess I have way too much time on my hands!
