What is quick load seen it mentioned several times? Is it a phone app or computer app? I looked on my phone but it pulls up HVAC apps.

It's a cartridge load simulator for Windows. It's not an app.

thanks as well. Not to hijack the thread but why would someone want to pay for that? Just curious...does it really save time trying to find an accurate load for a rifle? It seems like it can "guess" accuracy nodes? If so, does it come close? I am not a competition shooter nor am I longrangehunter but I do reload and I do try to get decent accuracy. For me if it is an off the rack rifle sub 1 MOA is all I really need in a load but when I get bored I do not mind doing OCW tests and such.

I use it for finding max pressures with multiple powders and seeing which will give the highest velocity before just burning powder.

It has multiple uses tho.

I find it very useful . after using it I wouldn't want to be without it . it's kind of like a reloading manual that you fine tune to your gun . you set case water capacity , COAL , your exact bullet , rifle BBL length , outside temperature . after you've fired a few rounds you can use this data collected to adjust the burn speed of that lot of powder . you can see the recoil this load generates with a rifle weight you choose . you can see how bbl length changes affect velocity . you can punch in your desired max percent of powder case fill , and your desired max pressure ,it will spit out a list of powders from highest velocity , to lowest velocity meeting your specs . if you believe in the Chris Long "OBT " barrel time method , it gives the BBL time for that exact load your looking at . it's great for answering your " what if " questions .

Would you mind running some info on VV N-570 in a 300 win mag with hornady brass , federal match 215 primers , hornady 225 eld-m Bullets seated to about 3.550 from a 30 inch barrel with a 1-9 twist . Charge weight starting at about 77 grains. I can't find data for that combo anywhere. Thanks for your help

Code:
Cartridge : .300 Win Mag
Bullet : .308, 225, Hornady ELD-M 30904
Useable Case Capaci: 80.084 grain H2O = 5.200 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 3.550 inch = 90.17 mm
Barrel Length : 30.0 inch = 762.0 mm
Powder : Viht n570 ?, Temperature: 50 °F

Is this the only program that you can put in different bullets or different powders to see an estimated pressure, also where do you get it.

The guy doing Gordons died, not sure where it will wind up or if anyone will keep it going. Been rumors but I haven't heard anything new in about 2 months.

I believe you can still download it, and it works with most powders well. But it doesn't seem very accurate with Staball. I'm getting much better velocities than its showing. 180 fps better in 243.
