I made all my own gear for years...until 2019 when I swapped over to "modern" equipment. I was looking through pics on my phone and found a couple from my stone point days.

yes indeed. Learned how in the Boyscouts about 30 years ago. Ive also made them from animal bone, usually the scapula.

By the looks of those points you were paying close attention and the teacher was very skilled. Very nice!

While me and the wife were on vacation in Wyoming we stopped at a art gallery. While the wife was looking around a older fellow started BSing with me about hunting. He noticed that I was checking out some handmade Indian knife replica's and told me to pick one up. He asked if I wanted to buy one and I told him I couldn't decide between the two and couldn't afford both.
He informed me that he had made them and he would give me the second one for free since he knew I liked them.
