Hey guys I have read this over and over,and I do shoot some{22lr,270 win} but not as much as I would like.My new rifle is a 300 winmag and I will be practicing as much as I can with it.My question is how many rounds will the barrel take {with proper cooling}before it is shot out?I don't want to be rebarreling in 2 seasons,but I want to be a confident 500yd shot with the rifle.Thanks RB

My initial guess is in the 1,500 to 2,000 round range for a 300 Win Mag.
