Pac-Nor question

Has anyone had an action trued by Pac-Nor, barrel chambered and/or fitted to action? I received an email from them, and they quoted $430, plus return shipping, with chrome moly match barrel standard contour, chambered in caliber of your choice and they true-up your action too. Is this worth the money or am I missing something?

I have them do all my rifles when it's time to rebarrel. I'm currently paying $540.00 and shipping for their best grade stainless, action truing/lapping fit/chamber/gauge.

Unless they really screw up, they'll be getting all of my business as I've had nothing but outstanding performance from them.

I have a tight neck 308, a standard chamber 308 and a 260.

I was pleased when break in rounds 11-12-13 went into 0.018" at 100 yards rom the 260. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

All 3 barrels are performers, and clean very well.

It's not the only rifle I've shot that groups well. Here's the break in group from an FN-SPR that we used to test the XOTIC prototype scope.

Those are some nice targets, but I usually shoot 3 shot groups, not 1. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I can't say I have any rifles that have grouped like that. As a matter of fact, my best group is several times larger.
