Over spinning bullets

The 7 Rem mag had a 30" barrel that is why the velocities seemed high. Actually worked up to 3050 with no signs of pressure but accuracy suffered.

Still a fair bit faster than I think I'd want to run it. The throat is going to suffer considerably compared to milder loads.

What powder are you running? How much?

IIRC it was RL-25. The barrel was rebored/rifled by Dan Pederson to 338 within a year of the VLDs being ripped apart by that three groove Lilja with that fast twist.
