Well, I for sure, will do what I can to not support the state of Colorado.
And once again, I send their congress people emails and they will not answer because I don't live in their districts.

Time to boycott all states that have these kind of laws and boycott firearms, ammo and accessory manfacturers that sell to state agencies in those states.

Guess Smith, Ruger and others are going on my NO buy list.

I would think that the people who voted these politicians into office will be quite pleased if you take your firearms and your money elsewhere. I for one have no interest in their happiness.

I grew up in Wyoming but was transferred here for work a year and a half ago. This state in no longer Colorado, it is now colofornia or calorado depending on pronunciation.

Guys, I completely agree with your outrage over what is going on in Commierado, but there are some very good people remaining in that state. I just got my gun back (I had a muzzle brake put on it) from Accuracy Systems Inc. in Byers CO. The owner, Carl, has done everything that he can on his website to promote pro-gun awareness and political action. I have spoken to him several times on the phone, and he is just not in a position to be able to move from that state. I believe he would like to, but he can't yet. The gunsmiths, gun shop owners, and manufacturers in that state are on our side, and they need our help. Support them so they can keep fighting. By all means, quit hunting in Commierado and don't spend money there when possible, but keep helping those who are fighting from within the state.

By the way, the work that Carl did on my gun was flawless, and the results were great. Reduced the recoil to 243 or lower levels. I will support him, and I will continue to help him fight. We need to find ways to support fellow 2nd Amendment supporters and fight the gun haters. I will never buy a hunting tag in Commierado!

And, we need to fight in each state rather than run. I applaud people like Carl who are in the fight for the long haul. I agree with Magpul for leaving, but if we run from each state we will run out of ground to fight from in the long run. Think about the fight for independence. Litters of Bodies each morning around Chesapeake Bay, but the flag still flew. There was nowhere to run, but they stood.

My 2 cents

This is where we should hit CO. I have already written Governor Hickendopper and told him as much, and I wrote the department of parks and told them the same.

I need to do the same . Can you post a link that I could email someone in office in that state. Out of state hunters bring big dollars to the state of Co. each year. I bet it would get their attention. People should boycott these states and spend the true American dollar in states like MT, Texas and others that still hold the Old American values and views.. .....God,Guns,Glory

Here is the site to contact Governor Hiccup

Governor John Hickenlooper - Contact the Governor

The site for the Colorado Department of Parks and Wildlife is down right now, but if you do a google search for it it is easy to find. Go to the contact page and let them know how you feel! Just remember, the Parks and Wildlife guys didn't pass the legislation. I think they are ****ed too from what I interpreted in the letters they sent back to me.

Mostly, economic sanctions don't work and neither does the use of facts. I could see Colorado slipping away since their restrictive trapping laws were implemented. I already avoid the state but wouldn't think twice about booking a hunt or sending a smith a gun.

Just remember, nobody cares if the state's economy goes into the toilet. They only care about retaining power. You'd think the two are linked but just looking at Michigan and California is evidence that they're willing to fall a lot further before having a change of heart.

Not really tied to sanctions or guns but I think Michigan's leadership has let their state down by protecting policies and special interest that are ruinous to their economy. Now that the cow's out of the barn, they're doing something about it but have paid a very heavy price to date.

Stockton (California's State Capital) is considering filing for bankruptcy. It's a snapshot of the State. Power is what's important and they'll run the whole State into the ditch to keep it. Seeing as how people keep supporting failed policies through their vote, I guess it's what they want but I don't see boycotting having much effect, if any in the larger picture. Only after a State reaches rock bottom will it grudgingly amend it's policies. That takes decades.
