So in addition to trying to inflict the wolve pestilence on the good people of Colorado, it looks as though our enemy is also trying again to ruin the rights of the people of Colorado to keep and bear arms as well. Two items that are being considered are Safe Storage and lost and stolen reporting. Who wouldn't report their firearm stolen? What good is a firearm for home defense if it is kept in a safe? The more important question is what is our enemy going to slip into the fine print to ensure that these laws are abused?

I'm so sad to see this, but it isn't unexpected. I escaped the People's Republic of Kolorado in 2015 after the mag cap ban. Figured if that's the direction the state was going, I didn't need to stick around. Californians and East coast libs have invaded and 'flipped' the state...for the worse. So sad to see. Hang in there if you can. Move to Texas or Arizona if you can't.

Arizona could be heading the way of Colorado too if enough of us don't get out and vote next election. Many of the tree hugging anti gun filth from other states have moved here.

A Texas buddy just moved to Arizona (to escape our high property and school taxes) and echoes what you wrote; just seems they are a few more years away from flipping from Red to Blue as folks flee the hell-hole of California for the 'greener grass' of Arizona.

That would be fine if the people moving in were of a Constitutional bent, realizing that when people (progressives) "make-it-up" as they go (ignoring the governing doctrines of the nation) they only make problems worse. Sadly, for every pro-Constitution type, they bring two or three of their liberal brethren with them. It doesn't take long to change who is in office and what 'policies' they want to enact.

But you put it perfectly - if EVERY GUN OWNER would get out and VOTE for the "pro-gun" candidate for an election or two, we would never lose and the 'progressives' would realize gun restrictions are a losing platform. Why? Only 60% of people vote during Presidential elections and only 40% vote during the midterm elections. If 100% of Pro-Constitution people (i.e., gun owners) voted (estimated to be between 80 million to 100 million people), we'd overwhelm the 60% looking to send us down the path of Socialism. Apathy is our biggest enemy.

Think it doesn't matter? Ponder this:
"Only 30 percent of millennial's think it's 'essential' to live in a democracy, compared to 72 percent of those born before World War II" (Gershman, 2018).
GET OUT AND VOTE PRO-GUN!
(please?)
