I have a box of 90 grain Scirocco bullets handed down to me. I'd like to load them in my 243 Winchester and wanted to know if anyone could share the Swift load data for this bullet.

It has been a while, but We used to shoot alot of those 90 grain Sciroccos in the 243. H414, IMR4831, and IMR7828 gave us the best results. H4831 will be closer to temp stable and be fine if that is a concern. If you start with Noslers data for the 85/90 grain bullets and work up you will find what you seek. I found with most of the 243s I worked with the Sciroccos liked to jump more than you'd expect.

Thanks Quintus. I was a little concerned about differences in bullet construction, especially bullet jacket material and resulting pressures. I will probably start with recommended start loads of RL16 and H4831SC from the Sierra 90/95 grain data.

Maybe this will help. 👍
