One heckuva handgun!

I am a 1911 guy and always will be.
And that is why I like the DWX compact so much. 1911 trigger and controls, CZ 75 ergo's......

I would not call it "CZ 75 Ergos" as the design goes back to the John Browing almost 100 years ago followed by the Sig Arms Of Switzerland p210 more tha. 60 years ago. Cuz 75 as well as SigSauer P220 both came in 1975 and share a lot of characteristics
I'd love to be corrected, as I see it as learning!

I recently picked up a Sig 226 X-5 Legion. It is, without a doubt, the best shooting and feeling handgun I have ever put my hands on. I never thought I would say that about a non-1911. Everything about this gun just screams "fire away".

My wife and I ran over 500rds in our first session. I variety of everything from cheap blazer to top end Underwood and all of it ran flawlessly. Including some Buffalo Bore "Outdoorsman" which is a hard cast flat nose. It all ran flawlessly.

The ports and weight absolutely make it shoot flat. In my opinion is shoots better than the Staccato XC or XL that I had. The ergonomics are also amazing, the gun just feels perfect. I had average sized hands (wear a large glove) and have found 2011s to have too large a grip for me to shoot well. Not so with this Sig, it almost feels like the gun is holding onto you not the other way around. Also, the trigger guard is checkered front and bottom.

It also fit all my Sig 226 (railed) holsters which is convenient. The safety is very positive and feels just like a well fit 1911 safety. The gas pedal takedown pin works great and the mag release is quite large and easy to engage.

I added a Trijicon RMR and the newer Sig Xray rear sight. It comes with an adjustible, tritium rear sight btw.

I hope they make a carry sized version at some point.

Check out DM Bullard holsters. I have the body guard and carry a 1911 4" in it. Forward can't and higher ride make it undetected under a jacket or untucked shirt.

Well then, if it's built on a CZ 75 compact grip frame, and it 'feels' just like a 75 compact in hand, just exactly what kind of 'ergos' would YOU say it has?
The chicken or the egg. Some say is built on CZ others say CZ copied Sig. They all copied Highpower. That's what my research shows. But I could be wrong. It won't be the first time I was wrong

Thanks. I am well aware of the company's history. In fact I knew about CZ long before I heard about Sig of Switzerland, the original company, before SigSauer. And they (CZ) do make fine firearms. They are world famous for their rifles, shotguns and pistols. They became really big right before the start of WWII. and continued after Soviet Union marched in Prague in 1968. But when people talk about the "ergos" of CZ75, we should look at what it was based on. John Browning designed the highpower in the 1920's. The P210 from Switzerland came In the late 1940's to 1950s'. The P220 and th Cz75 came in 1975. So what came first?
