Been using the app. Is there a way to get an azimuth from one point to another? For example, from the blue dot where I am standing, I want to know the magnetic compass bearing to get to a waypoint on the map ( or some other feature like a lake, etc). Thanks!

I'm working with GaiaGPS, but try this as I imagine it's similar.

Select the waypoint of interest. If you don't find direction from your location and distance immediately, look to open the information details for the waypoint. It's likely on the information window (at least it is in the GaiGPS app).

I don't know of a way to get a digital bearing but there are some tricks to use. Lots of great stuff here using a combination of "Go to Waypoint" and Compass mode:
