I currently have the elite subscription. I hunt one state through the year with exception to a two week hunt in CO in a October each year.
Can I subscribe to elite for only one month each year?
If I quit elite and maintain a premium membership one state (SC), what will happen to my waypoints and such I already have in CO?
Trying to figure this out as there is no need to pay for elite all year because I only use it for a couple weeks.
Thanks

You can find some great deals on Elite for 30% off. There are also some discounts offered that help offset that cost to other companies. But to answer your question, I believe elite is an annual plan. Once you're billed, no refunds.

You can export all your waypoint and import them if switching accounts, not that hard at all.

Figured it out

Figured it out, I'm not too tech savvy but I did get around this one lol.

I usually just pay for one State, SD. I thought about switching, haven't done it yet.

I have used it in MI some, deer hunting the U.P.. I downloaded an offline map where I go. The idea being I could use my gps dot to navigate some, but wouldn't have boundaries or landowner information.

Your smart phone has a GPS so you don't actually need cell signal to use the tracking while you are hunting it worked great in Montana this fall. I was pleasantly surprised

Try the US Topo Maps app. It's basically the old USGS topo maps but your phone will give your location on it. I use it all the time in the Adirondacks where I don't need to know owner boundaries. Just be sure to have the map downloaded before you lose phone service.

Go to Basemap, it is very versatile and you get the united states for one money. I have the pro plan for 39.99, it does everything that I need.

Could just sign up for a trial of Co when you go hunting, then cancel when when the hunt is over before they charge you.

If it's NF land then the NF topo maps for me using Avenza. But they don't have private property boundaries but they do change color when not on NF land I think.

Have you tried any other apps before Basemap? I'm thinking of going that way too.
I tried OnX and didn't like it, basemap is easier to use. You can create maps of areas that you want to hunt and then use them off line when satellite service is questionable. Very similar to google earth but with many more layers. also great for camping/hiking, that's how it got started, then it expanded into hunting.

Thanks for the info, thinking basemap is my choice too.
