This river crossing has accounted for dozens of coyotes,foxes,beavers,bobcats.
Coons usually go under the snare which is about 10 to 12 inches off the log ,bottom loop.
This fat boy didn't. Buckskinners take all coons 10$ ,beats wasting them.

Nice...any good fishing in that creek?
Smallmouth,crappie,bluegill suckers,rockbass,occasional trout,coho ten years ago but haven't seen any since,except way downstream near the lake Erie they get quite a few,lots of snags and beaver dams mess you up on this end.
 
I really enjoy fishing little creeks like that.

I used to spotlight raccoons in texas when I was in high school. They would buy them whole for $6 a raccoon. Made pretty good pocket money doing that.
