Remington is the only one I know that makes a brass colored one. Could knock a live one out and the color of the mix might give you a clue also.

Winchesters are brass also. On their reloading data they list Fed 215 for the STW.

I use S&B primers they are brass also

Mine are in blue packaging. Both WLR and WLRM and are brass color. Strange. I purchased them probably 4 or 5 years ago. When did you purchase those?

I didnt doudt the S@B. All the Win. Primers I've been around have been silver, they are older. Even Win factory ammo ive seen has silver primers.

These are older, I cant remember but 10 years plus.

The WLR I have are brass but they are about 7 years old. Federal are Silver

I guess they changed then. Pulled up Midway and Grafs, still blue packaging. Who knows anymore, might be made by S & B and repackaged.

federal or cci my guess would be federal pull a bullet and deprime color will tell you

Does anyone here have experience with the new Winchester match primers? They make them in small and large rifle.
