I was lucky enough to find a NOS Browning XBolt in 6.5x55 the other day after I was outbid on a very nice Colt New Service and just started browsing. Good price with a hard case. Anyhow, I've had a Swede 1894 for nearly 60 years and love it dearly but know the 1914 model shouldn't be pumped up where the X bolt should be a go-to rifle shortly. I have 120, 140 and 160 gr bullets and have always used 4064 or 3031 powders. I have IMR 4831, H4350 ( for my 7x57) but no "R" powders. Can you suggest a powder starting point for the 140 grain in the new X-bolt? I'll relegate the 1894 to the LONG 160's once the X-bolt gets a shake down.
