Jordan and I went out with a box call last week. No response.
Yesterday while at home he heard a gobbler. He worked the box call from an open window and got a response!
He found a spot in the brush along the adjacent right a way.
Jordan continued to call as the gobbler approached.
A short time later the gobbler spotted Jordan and began walking away. Jordan managed to make a head shot with his 20 gauge loaded with #9 shot at 30 or so yards away.
17 pounds
9" beard.
