Why do sellers list a gun as "custom" but never mention the gunsmith? Also, many list a rifle as "tack driver, lights out. etc..." but show no proof or guarantee. Granted gunsmiths such as LPR, Piercision, etc...are excellent smiths, but that doesn't mean a particular rifle isn't a dud? Seems like a huge crap shoot for a used 3-10k+++ rifle.

Best to just ask questions if you're interested in something but don't feel you have all the details. One guy puts an aftermarket trigger on a stock gun…boom custom. Next guy spends ten grand hand picking each piece…boom custom.
Sometimes if you wanna see the engine you gotta ask if you can look under the hood. It's annoying people don't itemize everything. It's annoying when they don't have pictures or good pictures. It's annoying when people get ****y when you ask questions. I'm annoying myself just typing all this out. Good luck!
