Nightforce Focus Question

Hi guys/gals,

I just purchased my first Nightforce Scope...a 5.5-22x50 NXS with a MOAR reticle. I'm really having a hard time getting everything to focus on it. I can get a clear sight picture but then can't see my crosshairs at all. I can adjust and see the crosshairs fine but then have a blurry sight picture. No matter what I do with the side focus or focus ring I have this issue. I'm almost embarrassed to ask for help as this isn't my first high end scope but what am I doing wrong? thanks!

Point the scope at the sky and look through it. Then using the eye piece ring focus to a crisp reticle. Then leave it there. Then use the left side parallax knob to remove parallax and focus at the target. This will vary with distance and the farther the target the closer to infinity end you will be.
