Newcon 2200si Rangefinder

Anyone have or know anything about the true ranging capability of this unit? I'm wanting something that will consistently read to a mile.

I stumbled upon Newcon in my search for a new rangefinder as well. But in the end I went with the tried and true Leica 1600. (arrived in the mail last week... )

There are a few on here who have experience with the Newcons, hopefully they'll chime in... I am interested in current reviews as well.

Thanks, I'm hoping for some good reviews, at $727. that's a third the price of a Vectronics. My Leica 1600 is great but struggles to get consistent readings past 1300-1400yds.

Nobody has one of these? These look like they could be the ticket for ranging to a mile on a budget.
