Newbe needs help selecting caliber

The .260 should do you well. Earlier I said a 270 would be my minimum, but I think I would go with one of the 25 cals with a godd bullet... the 25-06 is a good cartridegs. The 243 has killed a lot of game including elk, but my experience with it makes me look for something bigger.
