Hey all, new to the forum and happy to be here. Based in CO and been shooting hunting rifles since I was wee. Shot an A-Bolt .30-06 at big game since right out of high school (44 now, so awhile...); deer mostly, but a couple of elk and antelope. Also shoot a .22-250, .243 (both A-Bolts) and a Colt A/R.
Almost always spot-n-stalk open country and like to jump-shoot coulees, too. Decided to step up my rifle and long range game in general, but also want a gun that swings and points for close range, possibly at moving targets or at least hurried shots. Just bought an X-Bolt Western Hunter .300 Win Mag. and hoping to refine it into my long-term, all around, big game gun for here in the west. Looking forward to learning from ya'll! CL
