Picked up a new squirrel rifle a few months ago. Savage MKII FV in 17hm2
Could not stand the black tupperware stock, so I ordered a replacement from Boyd's.
Sanded off the factory finish and applied a Tru oil finish. Replaced the bottom hardware, trigger guard and factory scope mounts. Replaced with hardware from DIP.
Mounted a Mueller 8.5-25X44 scope. Sighted in at 70yds. This rifle shoots 3/8" groups at 50yds. Will be shooting squirrels from the next county.
