I have recently purchased a The Pride-Fowler RR800-1 "Rapid Reticle scope with the PFI ballistic reticle with windage marks out to 10 mph. advantage is it has a FFP reticle with 800M reticle and 30mm tube, they make one in 600 as well, I ordered mine from Midway usa for 629.00,.

Now I am traditionally a turret guy, I have hunted with the Shepherd scope with great success, I am going to be interested in the out come of this scope.

here is info on the Reticle ballistics match

How is this scope working out for you? I am working on purchasing a Rem 700 Milspec 5R in .308 and have been trying to decide what scope to put on it that won't break the "already broken" bank. I like what I'm reading here on the forum about Sightron's 6-24x50 with the MOA-2 reticle but I like the simplicity of the Pride Fowler RR-800-2 (10x42mm). Could you shed some light on which of these might better fit my bill? Can you use this reticle to also "Range" game in addition to holdover? Your thoughts???
