Beautiful speed goat! Congrats!!
And I enjoy seeing the rifle in the pictures, and reading about rifle/chambering/bullet details.

I was hunting antelope yesterday, and had a lot of trouble ranging them in very flat terrain. My Sig Saur 2000 got a couple of readings at 300 yards, but not much beyond that. Does your rangefinder pick them up at 500? If so, what kind is it.
Very nice goat beautiful one
Did you stop and leave an offering at Billy's grave? They say it brings good luck for the next hunt.I took this one about 25 miles southeast of Santa Rosa New Mexico on the Rim Rock Ranch. Believe it or not, but there were six bucks of this caliber total taken today by 6 of the 8 hunters.
I shot this buck at 500 yards with a 6.5X47 using 110 grain Hammer Hunter. I wish I could have recovered the round, but was unable to find the slug. All I can say is it dropped him with a massive wound channel.
Are the prongs worn off? (Rubbed in fighting?)It's hard to tell by the angle, but it looks like he has small prongs but **** he's long and wide! Great goat, congrats!!
