Howdy Neighbor,

Any good places to shoot, other than any state ranges in or around Altoona?

there is a 1,000 yard range north of you , it's called " reade " or maybe " reade township " . I sometimes shoot indoor pistol at " reade township " through the winter , but these are at two different places . I'm not sure where the rifle range is at . I would say that you could google it though . I use a 500m range that is close to the town of Kylertown . it's called " west branch sportsman club " . west branch is probably about 50 miles from Altoona . Jim
