Yep, that must be me.
Well, I mostly joined to use the search function and to get better info from the forum, so I probably won't post again for a while. My interests change, a lot, and I often join forums and then forget about them.
Other than that. I'm a dude. I am very good at making stuff with my hands. I'm slightly off-kilter, and I ask crazy questions. My first impression(s) are usually right, and leave me biased until I get an informed answer. For some reason, I like to polish turds, figuratively. I like to push things until they break and then fix them. I like to over-engineer everything else. I don't usually follow trends, and if I do, it's because it's the best choice available. I just got another idea for a .22, heh. I want to make an AR-10 or 15 upper capable of accepting .532 family cases. A 'tactical' stocked Browning BAR would be fun, too. I want to chop Mauser receivers in half, remove some metal, and weld the halves back together so they fit 1" to 1.5" cartridges, and then make a new bolt. I want to make suppressors(legally). I want to make a full auto SBR Ruger Mk II .22/25 ACP with a 12" integral suppressor(legally). Or maybe just rebarrel a Savage 340 to a 6.5/30-30 ai, add a suppressor(legal) and have fun. I would like to make a six or seven inch 1911 longslide, with threads for a can(legal) and a rail for a scope and a bipod. Heck, just make it an SBR(legal). And, just maybe, a 60" 30-378 to lob 240SMK's. But I like smaller stuff, so a .308 Win tube fed lever gun that outshoots your Remington will do.
I also want to make a diesel Harley, a diesel cafe-style motorcycle, and a diesel sand rail. Rock crawlers will be next, then The Indestructible Truck.
Right now I'm in school for a two year in Machine Trades, and my Dad thinks I'm smart enough to be an engineer. I dunno. I do know I am getting thirstier for knowledge, and simple answers for simple questions just lead to more questions. I've been on a kick for the last few days to research world religions and their beliefs and impacts on other peoples. I am an Eagle Scout.
Oh, by the way. I'm slightly OCD.
I don't really care what other people think, but leave my faith, my freedom, my family and my friends out of it. If you took the time to read all of that, you were either really bored, or we'll get along just fine.
