I am about to recieve a new Remington 5R rifle 300 Win Mag. I want to start traveling out to the western part of the states and do some hunting out there.
This rifle is overkill for Ga, but I do intend to try and curb the hog and coyote population a little here at our hunting club. We do have some 400 yd shots on our biggest food plot, so I want to learn as much as I can and become as proficent as I can with this rifle.
Once i feel comfortable, i will go out west for mule and elk hunting. Nearest long distance course is 1 hour away, so I plan on making some trips and get into some competition shooting. I know I will be outclassed, but hopefully i will learn some more at these competitions.
