For those of you who load Big Cases , Redding has introduced the LR-1000 Measure . It throws up to 140 Grains of Powder . I don't use any of these huge Cases , but I really like my Redding BR Measure which has been in use for many years . The LR-1000 has Cast Iron construction but uses a hard chromed Rotor and cutting edge . There is also supposed to be a hemispherical cup at the base of the metering chamber which Redding says eliminates bridging of long Grain Powders . I also like that all Redding Products ( so far ) have been US made , and my experience with their Service has been excellent . It's pricey , as the MSRP is $294 .
