New Barrel

Hi Guys in kinda new here. i want to g
et a new barrel on and older weatherby fiberguard i have. i want a 4 or 5 contour flutted in 270 win. what brand would be good. and doe's anyone know of a good gunsmith in southern california

Almost all of the barrel manufacturers today make barrels that are top of the line-especially compared to the barrels of yesteryear. I currently own several (Shilen, Pac-Nor, Lilja, Krieger, CZ, and a Midway). I think they all work great. Don't stress this part of the gun building chore too much because you really can't go wrong. Choose one and don't worry.
