My custom 300 WM LR is like that. 74.5 gr off my last old lot of H1000. Velocity was still there at 2960 FPS.

I switched to 208 ELDM in that rifle and I'm at 74.3 and 2980 FPS

That rifle has a short throat in it.

Mine really liked 74. but I was sooo pushing it. Don't have it in front of me now but it was either 73 or 73.5 and after that hard bolt lift. Accurate enough. But makes me feel better that a custom was stopped short.

here is what my new Bergara likes, the C.O.A.L. is 3.590 not sure how far off the lands that is but it's as long as my clip will allow.
