I bought a 1928 Springfield 1903 30-06 that I plan on hunting with. I'd like to attach a Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40 with Vortex Precision Match rings. I'm looking for some advice on a quality base set-up to make this application work.
If possible, I'd rather get a ready to go set-up and not do any modifying or trimming.
