Neck bushing info needed

Getting setup with Redding type S 280ai, Peterson brass and Berger 168vld. I loaded a couple shells and measured neck OD and consistently getting .3120, measured a couple new never fired pieces of brass and got .3075. Which bushing would you recommend? Also any load help would be appreciated, only powder available here is Retumbo and 4831sc. Thanks guys!

I would go with the .310. However, I ended up buying 5 different bushings for the 280ai.

Either a .309 or .310; it's always a guess to hit it exactly. A 309 would allow for .002" neck tension after a .001" spring-back. Neck tension should be between .002" & .003" in a hunting rifle, but that's just my opinion. Some bullets seat smoothly while others do not.

Buy one bushing knowing that at some point things may change a bit and you'll need the next size up or down.

.310 , .309 , 308 , if you turn you may need down to a .306

My fired brass is .318; I use a .315, then .312, then .310 to end up at .311 before seating the bullet, no mandrel. Seated bullet case neck is .3135.
