I finished up my 6.5X47 Lapua recently and I thought I would share the details.

Here are the specs

PTG 6.5x47 .294 neck .140 FB reamer
Trued 700 Action
Brux Barrel - Modified Rem varmint contour - 26", .800 at the muzzle
PTG 1 piece fluted bolt.
PTG .200" lug
PTG Aluminum BM
Manners EH1 Stock - Pillar bedded
Jewell Trigger
RWS Brake
TPS Rings
Vortex HSLR 4-16x44
Bolt, barrel and lug have been nitrided

Weight without scope is 8.5 lbs on the nuts. Its a sweet little gun. Balances well with no recoil. It shoots ok too

Testing seating depths with 37.2 grains of Varget/130 Bergers/CCI 450s. 2877 FPS average. SDs and ES were very very good
Best groups were .040" and .050" off the lands. The top 2 groups were .020 and .030" off the lands. All groups shot in 15-20 mph wind

Testing RL17/130 Bergers/CCI 450s at 400 yards. 2950ish FPS with single digit spreads and SDs. This load didn't shoot well at 100 yards (just under 1" groups), but I small groups at 100 don't necessarily translate at distance.

That is a good looking rifle I was go with 6.5x47 or 260 before I went with the 6.5x284 but I'm still wanting a 260 or 6.5X47.. I've already have the 700 donor just have to come up with the $$$

Its a fun little round and easy to load for. I took it out at some distance yesterday. We did 500, 700 and 1000.

I should have taken pictures. It did pretty darn good

I bet it is I've only shot my 6.5 to 100yds just got done breaking in the barrel.. I'm really hoping I can put it on paper to 1000 of the weather will slack up in the next couple days this rain is killing me

Man, that thing looks perfect! I love the stainless and the nitride contrast. I think I have a pretty good idea for my next build ;) Beautiful Rifle!
