My new favorite rifle / rifles Barbourcreek BC1400 Fusion rifle with extra caliber barrels 7prc, 6.5 crm, 6.5 prc, 300 prc all on a long action Zues terminus action 7rem and 28 nos barrels at the gunsmith.

Just swap barrels except the (6.5 crm needs standard bolt face and magazine).

How do you guys handle scope adjustments when you swap barrels? I've thought about a switch barrel rifle for years but re-zeroing seems like it would get old.

How well does the 6.5 PRC work for you? I am considering building a 6.5 PRC on a long action but am worried about magazine feeding issues out of a 3.8 inch AICS style magazine.

What specifically makes it a switch barrel? Or is it just a standard rifle that you tighten the barrels to a specific point for headspacing?

I have several "multiple cartridge" rifles. They are handy, excepting having to make slight zero adjustments with barrel changes.

#1 - Tuebor action with 2 bolts, mag &
.308 faces. Two barrels for Sherman
6.5 SS and 1 each for 6.5
Creedmoor and 7-08.

#2 - Atlas Tactical action, mag bolt. Two
barrels each for Sherman 7Max and
for .264 WM.

#3 - Stiller Tac 300 action, mag bolt.
three barrels for 7 STW and two for
7 Rem Mag.

#4 - Stiller Tac 300 action, .308 bolt,
three barrels for 6.5 Sherman

All are using SwitchLug by West Texas Ordnance by Clayton Smith. Not cheap, but I went this way to save expenses on
actions and stocks. It's nice to be able to change cartridges or have barrels ready to replace.

I have 3 diff WTO switch lug barrel rifles. When you change barrels, just record the scope clicks when switching from one caliber to the next. When you go back next time, look up your clicks, dial them in and you'll be very close to on target/bull.
Easy, peasy!

I have the same kind of setup but differs slightly. 28 nosler, 30 nosler, 7 saum, 6.5 prc. Love the Zeus.
