My brother picked up a really nice custom 7mm Dakota awhile back and it has a small fixed brake on it. It works really good but he doesn't want it for hunting so he wants to replace it. I know at some point someone was making a brake that you could twist off when hunting. Has anyone used these, who made these, and do they work? Also he could just go with something that he could replace with a thread protector but the way I understand it with the twist off brake there would be no change in POI. Also any recommendations on what brake to use would be appreciated!
