MT HD 215 Bears?? on my DIYS SOLO hunt ELK B Lic.

Was going to MT on PLAN 'B' if no meat on my 23rd year to So West CO (1st rifle this year) but changed it to PLAN 'A' before the snows. Been told No GRIZZZs in CO in many - many moons but, I have my 'Black Bears Matter' plan in place. Not so where I'll be in MT. The Bio. told me he had a 6 pack of Wolfs in my hood. I will get a $50 Wolf tag just in case one or 6 come along (1 tag =1 Wolf). Will not hunt Bears, just my 1 cow ELK...... but will try to live to hunt another daygun). Anyone with semi-current stories on Bears between Butte and Helena, or any other thing I should know please let it out. I understand that a Black in MT is not the Same Black in CO and might need to be treated a little different. ALL input will be appreciated.
